Subsidised Space

Jerwood Space was created to help professional theatre & dance makers rehearse for the best possible performance. We aim for a conducive environment where an exciting, mutually beneficial mix of experienced and emerging artists are at work. Established companies are charged a competitive rate but substantial reductions may be available to selected companies and artists who can demonstrate their merit. In the main, that's aimed at rehearsal projects rather than one-off sessions.

Jerwood Space does NOT fund productions, nor can we offer "free" space: as professionals, whatever your funding, you will be working to a budget to achieve your aims and we use that to help decide on an appropriate rate.
