Excellent facilities for the Work of Art

Opened in 1998, the Jerwood Space is now widely regarded as one of the best rehearsal spaces for theatre and dance in the country.  It is a major initiative of the Jerwood Foundation providing excellent facilities for "the work of art".  Young dance and theatre companies can develop their work at a greatly reduced cost, while working alongside established professional companies who pay competitive rates.

A beautifully refurbished Victorian school (Paxton Locher Architects) also offers a contemporary art gallery, café and striking glazed courtyard (Satellite Architects); these are all open to the public and available for events.
